Join us for our annual Juried Student Art Exhibit. This exhibition showcases the breadth and depth of the college's emerging artistic talent from across all areas of arts study. 

The exhibit is located in the Fine and Performing Arts Center's Robert F. DeCaprio Art Gallery and runs from April 25-May 20. Join us for the reception / awards ceremony on April 28th between 2:30-4p–refreshments will be served. #MVCCJSAE — at Moraine Valley Community College, Fine and Performing Arts Center.

Hi I’m Jenni, I wanted my portfolio to show my passion for art, but I do want it to reflect want I like to do with my projects and what style I do them in. I am passionate in hand made drawing and graphics. I also like learning new styles to make my project more of a challenge to see the how far I can take them and gain skills from it. I always have a story or meaning to my artwork with words or without words I give it emotion and life.

Elisha's Portfolio

For my portfolio, I decided to basically explain my process and convey the emotion of each piece. As an artist, I enjoy connecting with and understanding art so this is an objective I hope to achieve for my clients and audience as well. Since my art is straight forward and colorful in it's approach, I wanted a digital portfolio that expressed the same for it.

Artist statement

My name is Michelle henderson, I am a talented designer who loves playing with color, pattern, and new ideas. I love when I get challenged to create something new; for a client, or for for my independent work. I like being able to put my own stamp on my designs so they stand out. I think my aesthetic is different then others, because I have my own view when it comes to designing. I like creating designs that are appealing, modern, and fresh. For my portfolio I wanted to keep it clean let the art be the main focus.

My portfolio is a mixture of freelance work that I’ve done to some of my few photography skills and other projects; like murals and clothing designs. I try to stay busy as an artist and my portfolio changes from time to time so stay updated and check it out .
